About NBRK

The National Bank of Kazakhstan (NBRK) is the primary financial regulatory authority in Kazakhstan responsible for overseeing open banking and financial services. As a National Competent Authority (NCA), NBRK ensures that banks and third-party providers comply with open banking regulations, protecting consumers while fostering innovation in financial services.

SCA Update: The NBRK develops monetary policy and supervises the financial sector. Kazakhstan's Open API and Open Banking Concept 2023โ€“2025 is implemented jointly with ARDFM and APDC.
